We have booked to come over on the 19th of April and needless to say friend s will be our first port of call. We are relly looking forward to the friendly atmosphere and delicious food! Hope all is well with you and all the gang.

We are coming to PDC on 10th November and have heard such great things about the bar, I can tell you now, we will be having a few cold ones on the plane, and a few along the strip, and I have just seen your menu and already planned to call in with my partner to try your curry and rice!!! A done deal!!! get the carling ready!!!

Just got home from PDC went to Friends bar most days and nights
food is best on island fish & chips are out of this world batter not to thick
could not fault the food or the friendlyness of all the staff they always made you welcome
will be going back asap thank you friends for makeing us so welcome
other bars are only after your money and dont care what they dish you up
but Friends bar care

A break from the norm of high prices and poor standards of food and drink from some (not all) of the bars/eateries in PDC. A real breath of fresh air. Clean, well presented, VERY fair pricing on food and drink and the quality and standard of the food is up there with some of the top restaurants and the master behind the grill can cook a steak correctly too!!! (added bonus)
Made to feel really welcome by the owners and staff who also gave us some top advice regarding things we have lined up for next years visit!!!

How glad are we that we found this little jewel in the Nile! We’ve just got back from a short anniversary trip and popped into Friends every day/night.
*THE* best prices for drinks (all alcoholic and non alcoholic) we have come across in Puerto Del Carmen and the food was absolutely delicious! Me and my husband sampled the steak, the large rack of ribs, the cheeseburger and the chicken New Yorker and all were really filling and VERY reasonable in price.
Steve & Sue are the perfect hosts and the staff were all fabulous and attentive too.
10/10 for you guys, we will be back over in October half term 2012 with the children!

First time at Friends, and I must say , the food was excellent and just cooked to perfection, we really enjoyed it , Sue I have to say is a great hostess, she is so accommodating and helpful. Thank you for being so helpful.
We were only sorry , we hadn’t found this earlier on , as we had a few bad experiences in other restaurants,

Just spent two weeks in Lanzarote visited Friends Bar regulary . Steve and Sue always gave a warm welcome and the staff were a pleasure they loved the place that much they couldn,t stay away on thier days off or maybe that was because the price of the beer was the best on the islandThe food was exellent and freshly cooked worth waiting for See you in January if not before Friends by name and Friends by nature

Spent 5 months in Lanzarote and ate most evenings at Friends Bar, very good food , cheap prices and very friendly staff. Would highly reccomend a vist you will not be disappointed. Steve the old boy that cooks is exceptional at his cooking.Long may it continue

just spent a week in Puerto Del Carmen and am so delighted I discovered Friends bar and restaurant…..the welcome from Steve and Sue just lovely and warm and the food is definitely the best in Island with even better prices. I will be back in september with my family and can’t wait to visit Friends to sample the delicious garlic prawns and lush steaks…steve the Chef gets my vote even though he supports the wrong team lol xx
Another fab visit yesterday with friends. I had the linguine in blue cheese sauce… closely followed by a slice of homemade white choc cheesecake – lovely!
As always… we were welcomed with open arms.

without a doubt the best food on the island, my partner and i ate in here about 4 or 5 times, and the grub was fantastic, they possibly do the best burgers i have ever tasted so move out the way mcdonalds you stand no chance here, the sunday lunch is fab, i aint the biggest eater in the world but i couldnt help but finish it (you have to be here for about 1 in the afternoon for the best lunch), the girls behind the bar where always happy and made everybody always feel really welcome, next time we visit lanzarote this is the place we will be heading first
We went to this bar every afternoon and night. .Great food by Steve, yummy colesaw. Lovely pint of Carling for 2.50. Spotlessly clean place. Kirsty and Allison are the best bar staff you willfind and the boss should up there wages,they are good asset to the place. May see you all in October
not been in this bar yet ,but that is going to deffo be rectified in September if not before , and its only across the square to the pub dedicatd to the worlds greatest team , where i have been known to go

Christmas Dinner at friends was amazin and not only the price £28.00 bor 5 course meal, but the meal wa samazin and the service was amazin, we spent 3 months in Lanzarote and most nights we went to Friends, the prices are the best in Lanzarote value for money local spirits 1 euro you cant beat it. Just try and you wil always go back. 5 star
Went here every night of my holiday at end of jan 2011.. great prices the staff are very friendly and a gd laff to have a drink with food was great hopefulli be back soon.. steph frum belfast!! x
We go to Lanzarote as often as we can and Puerto Del Carmen is the only place to be and Friends Bar is SIMPLY THE BEST.
Steve Sue and Steve the fantastic chief,will give you the warmest welcome.
The price is right so come on down to the best watering hole in town.
once you’v tried the food you will be back for more.
Sunday dinner. YUM YUM save us some for March please. Thought id get my order in they sell out fast.
And get making that Dian sauce Steve my mouth is watering at the thought. Not your packet stuff here.

Great bar serving fine food and drinks, good choice from burgers/wraps to something more substantial
Excellent value for money and although I never normally eat a sunday roast on holiday, I couldn’t resist at Friends, and believe me I did not regret it !!
Steve and Sue are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble

went to pdc for christmas and new year found friends bar, food was out of this world i am very fussy about my food and i could not fault it, the staff are so friendly and make you very welcome

Cheap beer, top Sunday roasts, great staff, and friendly locals. What more can anyone ask for?
Visited friends around 9 times on my recent holiday to PDC, the bar is great and Man United have a 100% record when I come to the here!

Got back from Puerto Del Carmen last Sunday had an excellent time, as usual. This time we finally found Friends Bar and must say we are glad we did, as the name says it is very friendly, it is also excellent value and the food was really nice, couldn’t fault it. We are back on the 3rd June and will be visiting Friends Bar again, we plan to try the Sunday lunch this time. Looking forward to seeing you all again and see you soon.

Great place for popping into as always assured of a friendly welcome. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the food is just amazing.
Be sure to try the Ribs – just make sure you are very hungry first!!
The other half is partial to their homemade fish cakes – Yum
The Sunday Roast is also very good I hear – not got round to trying that yet. Understand you have to get their early before they sell out.
